Coreldraw transparent background. Do the same as step one but instead of clicking on the trace bitmap button click the one next to it that says edit bitmap this will open corel photopaint a bitmap editing program. Coreldraw is a vector program much like adobe illustrator. This will duplicate the background layer and change it to object 1. Hi i m having problems with export option in coreldraw 11 i m trying to export a png file with transparent background when the convert to bitmap dailog box opens up the tranparent background option is inactive.

In the object manager right click on the background and select duplicate. Right click edit the image taht will open the image with photopaint choose the magic wand the w key takes the tool select the white area go to mask menu invert selection close photopaint and when the program prompt for save changes choose yes. Now we want to add a color shift to the background layer so that when we add transparent gradient to the object it will show through.
